Resources to help CFOs and Controllers maximize their accounts payable function and
add to their bottom line

Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow has developed several resources to help busy
executives maximize the productivity of their accounts payable operations.

Newark DE - Controllers and CFOs everywhere always look for ways to improve their
bottom line. The search has intensified in recent months as the economy weakens.
That's why it is so surprising that many leave money on the table by ignoring parts
of their accounts payable function. That's why we have developed a number of
resources to help organizations everywhere put some of those funds back in their
pockets says Mary Schaeffer, a nationally recognized accounts payable expert and
publisher of Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow (www.ap-now.com).

Schaeffer, also the author of a dozen business books published by John Wiley & Sons,
has put together a webinar entitled The Controller & CFO Crash Course: Simple Ways
to Maximize Accounts Payable Productivity to be given on June 19th. CDs of this
event will be available on July 1. Not only will she go through about a dozen
strategies, she'll show you how to figure out the bottom line hit your organization
takes by not following the recommended practice.

When writing her book, Preventing Fraud in Accounts Payable (John Wiley & Sons
August 2008) she interviewed Mark Evans, Principal, Bottaboom Consulting, a telecom
auditing firm, and was both impressed and horrified at what she learned from him. He
has agreed to join her webinar series and lecture on Are You Being Overcharged on
Your Telecom Bills? How to Make Sure You\'re Not! on June 26th. The CD of that
lecture will be available around July 10.

Accounts payable success, warns Schaeffer, is in the finer points. And, alas, it is
not quite as easy as one might think. Recognizing the importance of understanding
the details, Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow has put together a packet of resources
to provide Controllers & CFOs with the detailed information they need to run a first
class accounts payable operation. The Accounts Payable Executive Set for Controllers
& CFOs is comprised of CDs, a book and an annual subscription to the Accounts
Payable Now & Tomorrow newsletter.
About Mary Schaeffer and Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow: Accounts Payable Now &
Tomorrow, a newsletter read by professionals concerned about payment issues is
published by CRYSTALLUS, Inc. publishing, training and consulting firm focused on
payment issues. It helps mid-size companies streamline their accounts payable
operations to employ best practices for efficiency and control purposes. The
organization also produces a series of educational webinars and one day seminars on
topics related to accounts payable. Its next event will be on Unclaimed Property in
Chicago on April 25, 2008. The work of both organizations is directed by Mary
Schaeffer, a nationally recognized accounts payable expert and author of a dozen
business books published by John Wiley & Sons.
